Notes The first Newcastle shirt ever worn by hometown hero Alan Shearer after his record transfer from Blackburn Rovers. On August 9th 1996, Shearer played and scored wearing this kit in a friendly win at Lincoln City. Shearer went on to score 28 goals in all competitions in 96/97.

History Entered HPRK pre-worn/secondhand. Premier League sleeve patches and Shearer nameset heat pressed recently by HPKR.

Washing Ensure items are washed inside out with precaution and at a low temperature - ideally cold hand washed. Do not tumble dry. Shirts with namesets/sponsors are on occasion starting to show signs of peeling. Items are washed before being added to site.
